Stupidity Pays Huge Dividends in Irving Texas: An American Success Story

A 14-year-old-boy in Irving Texas got so excited, he invented a digital clock, he got so motivated, wake up early, dressed quickly and ran to his school hoping his teacher and community would be proud of him and his school would give him a prize or hold a party in his honor; instead he found a closed minded teacher-borderline mentally challenged, a backward school and a police department that locked him in jail for a while; an American story that started bad and ended with remarkable results for this boy, for his family and for the United States; the boy got an invitation from the President of the United States and from the founder and owner of Facebook and others.

The whole world with no exaggeration came across this heroic story one way or another. America though understandably has become paranoid from things that look suspicious especially in schools where few students brought guns and killed fellow students and their teachers; Columbine High School Massacre is a huge example but in this case the school in Texas as a matter of record did not prove anything positive in regard to its security measures because Texans did not find the clock on their own; the 14-year-old inventor in the picture approached his teacher with his clock and then the panic started until the end of the story.

The teacher did not afterward hug or embrace the student neither did the school and here lies the tragedy; if they have afterward embraced the American boy, the whole world would have said mistakes happen but smart, gracious people correct, apologize as needed and then embrace and move on none of which have taken place in ungrateful and backward Irving, Texas.

But the Return on Investment for this American boy has already started to come in; dividends are beyond imagination for this boy if he continues on this path which if it was not for the Texas, Irving stupidity, probably no one would have ever heard of him or his school or even Irving, Texas.
