Bibi Netanyahu is the Bill Clinton of the State of Israel; Israelis love to hate him but they cannot.
Bibi is so clever that he convinced the Israelis overtime that they have no alternative to him, and the Israelis believed him not because they are naive, but because they had to believe him, there was no alternative; Isaac Herzog is so mild, so colorless for the demanding and particular Israeli taste.
Mr. Herzog is like Hummus without tehina or olive oil or
lemon or anything.
The Israeli society like their Hummus with tons of tehina; Bibi
is the tehina on the Hummus.
As for Tzipi, there is nothing there, Tzipi cannot win and cannot be more than a technocrat, a first rate administrator.
Last time Bibi was defeated was when Ehud Barak was leading the opposition; the Israelis trust Ehud Barak the way they trust Bibi but with more admiration and likability.
Israel next time has- if they want to- somehow to bring Ehud Barak to the picture, he is the only viable alternative to Bibi that can actually win an election but do not be surprised if Bibi brings him back from 'retirement' and later lose an election to him. In politics the unexpected is expected.
